The Ambassadors of Death.

This was a seven part Pertwee story from 1970, around the time of the first moon landings. There was definitely an attempt at a realistic portrayal of space travel but many of these scenes are terribly dull and have been heavily trimmed.

Liz's escape from Carrington's scientific base, quiclkly foiled by the Bruno Taltallion has been snipped. As have many scenes with Taltallion. Including most of episode five, where Taltallion attempts to blow up the Doctor with a bomb in a suitcase. It didn't really add anything to the story so that was easily trimmed away.

One last thing, for my amusement, I have added a Chet Baker soundtrack to one of the later scenes where the Brig commandeers Bessie to rescue the Doctor and Liz. The track is called Vehicle, I don't know what year it's from.
