Colony in Space is a six part serial from 1971 with a running time of two and a half hours. It's a fine example of classic Who and the first time the earthbound third Doctor get's the TARDIS to travel to an alien wold. It's very good but six parts might be a bit of a stretch. That's why I have trimmed it down to two episodes slightly both slightly over forty five minutes. Saving an hour of your time.
If that's too much for I suggest you jump in at episode two, when the Master shows up.
